This is our very first post. We bet you are wondering a lot of things but one of them may be- Why Concordia Insurance? What's in a name? Well, in ancient Roman times, Concordia was known as a Greek goddess that represented agreement in society. Therefore, she was often related to Homonoia, the concept of order and unity, being of one mind together and unity. It was used by the Greeks to create unity, concord, and balance in a society that was anything but. 

When we set out and decided to create Concordia Insurance, the decision was made greatly as an effort to bring more balance to our personal and professional lives.. so Concordia seemed very fitting. 

The why is just as simple- we are two women (and friends!) that wanted to create a way for our clients to always have the best insurance experiences possible.

• We are educators, not salespeople. When we can explain coverages to a client so that they can understand it and make an informed, educated decision on whether the coverage is right for them or not, we have done our jobs. Plus, lets face it, insurance is hard to understand! 
• We are here for YOU. Is there anything more frustrating than not being able to get help when you need it? We are local residents of Middle TN and we are here for you and our communities. 
• Trust. Insurance is a relationship. You are trusting us to protect your most valuable physical and financial assets. Trust us to be there in your time of need. Trust us to steer you to the right protection.
